A whole week
Has really past since I last blogged. So tonight’s blog is a to-do list of blogable items:
a) Harrods trip
b) Christmas trees and a Christmas day out with Thomas
c) Mobile phones. ANGRY ONE.
d) Broken computers
e) Running update
I was intending to write it all up tonight, but after my quick trip to Sainsbury’s turned into an hour and a half time warp where I can only remember listening to a supremely slow George Michael track whilst aimlessly meandering around the same aisles and navigating the shopping list from hell. It would be my personal pleasure to meet the bright spark who decided not to put Icing sugar with the sugar. Probably because Icing sugar is more like flour than caster sugar????. I'd like to shake your hand and set you a trivial task to waste your time by way of thanks.
Almost managed to get a game of poker going with Insight and Pocket Angel tonight - except Insight seemingly forgot how to find the register button and the game started without him. Not that it mattered in the end since I was out first... At least Pocket won. Well played.
Google word of the day... I quite liked - Tmesis.
In other news, my rather lovely wife Sarah turns 30 weeks pregnant today. She is a fantastic mum - I'm not entirely sure I could stay home and entertain kids all day long. In fact, just 2 hours and I'm shattered :D. How she does this having not really slept all that well whilst carrying a baby is beyond me.
Only 10 more weeks of having her insides kicked before we have another addition to our family. OK, so it's more like 12 weeks given the likelihood of it being late. It is almost certain to be a boy (not that we know) because it "just is". If only we could agree on a name that doesn't begin with 'J' we'd be laughing. It's not reasonable for 4 out of 5 grandchildren to have names beginning with 'J'....... is it?????
